FAQ
Answers to common questions
Straight answers about timelines, permits, pricing, and what to expect when you remodel with us.
Getting started
How do I get a quote?
Call us or send the contact form with a few details about your project. We'll set up a time to visit, look at the space, and then give you a written, itemized quote. The consultation and quote are free.
Do you charge for an estimate?
No. The initial consultation and your written quote are free and come with no obligation.
What areas do you serve?
We serve Phoenix and the East Valley, including Mesa, Scottsdale, Tempe, and Gilbert. If you're nearby and not sure whether you're in our area, just ask.
Timelines & living in your home
How long will my remodel take?
It depends on scope. A bathroom is often 2–4 weeks, a kitchen 4–8 weeks, and a whole-home remodel longer. You'll get a realistic schedule in writing before work begins, and one project manager keeps it on track.
Can I live in my home during the remodel?
Usually yes. We phase the work to keep a functioning kitchen and bathroom available as long as possible. Some heavier phases are disruptive, and we'll be honest up front about what to expect and when.
Do you handle permits and inspections?
Yes. Many remodels — especially those touching structure, electrical, or plumbing — require permits. We pull the necessary permits and coordinate inspections as part of the project.
Pricing & payment
How are remodels priced?
We price by scope and selections rather than a flat rate. The biggest cost drivers are the size of the project, any structural or layout changes, plumbing and electrical moves, and your material selections. Our quotes are itemized so you can see where the budget goes.
What is the payment structure?
For most projects there's a deposit to reserve your place on the schedule, progress payments tied to completed milestones, and a final payment at the walk-through. The exact terms are spelled out in your quote before you commit.
What if the scope changes mid-project?
Any change is handled with a written change order that you approve before the work happens — so the price never moves without your sign-off.
Licensing, insurance & warranty
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Elite Home Remodeling is licensed and insured in Arizona under ROC #366903.
Do you warranty your work?
Yes — we stand behind our workmanship, and the specific warranty terms are included in your written agreement. If something needs attention after completion, you'll know exactly who to call.
